Update

Dear student bloggers,

Congratulations to a job well done!  I am happy to say that some of the blogs are very good and I have even gained some tips from them.

However, there are some of you who have not updated your blogs according to the topics.  Thus, please update the blogs based on the given topics as I'd be grading them this Friday (March 25, 2011) up till the topics for Week 7.  As for the topics for Week 8, please blog on topic 1 (To cheat or not to cheat), and choose another topic for your second posting.

Meanwhile, to those who have not watched Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa, fret not.  Over the weekend, just blog about an English movie that you have watched, telling us about your pre-movie expectations, and your post-movie experience. To the ones who have watched, please tell us what you think of the movie, ok?

For me, I think that the movie is one the best Malay movies that I have watched, well, probably at the same par as some of P. Ramlee's best movies.  Except for a few glitches (esp when I noticed that the extras had neat, well-trimmed hair which was quite a stark contrast to the main characters!), I was quite enthralled by the movie.  My son could not stop talking about the movie for days! He even memorized the pantun from the movie - "sampai masa tibanya waktu, redup hati kaum berdua, bila dua jasad bersatu, hidup mati jadi bersama"

All in all, just make sure that you complete your blogging assignment by next week, as I will finalize the grades on Monday, April 4, 2011.

Week 5

Dear students,
It is already week 5, so I'm sure that everyone have their hands full with classes, assignments and other co-curricular activities to attend to.  I just hope that you do not forget to update your blog (there should be at least eight postings by this Friday!) from time to time.  Do not forget to visit your friends' blogs, and leave your comments there as well.

I have visited all the blogs, and so far, I'm happy with what I've read (and see!).  Anyway, in your enthusiasm in voicing your thoughts to the world, just ensure that you do not use foul language or cuss in your posts, okay? 

Keep on the good work, and smile a lot!!!

CNY break

Dear students,
Happy hols!!! I'm sure that as I write this, a lot of you are already heading back to your hometowns to enjoy the long break with your families. 

To those driving/riding, take great care.  With the rainy season, you need to be more vigilant on the road, as there might be some jokers out there who think nothing about others' safety.

2011

Wow... how time flies!!! I feel like it was just a few days ago that the new year loomed on us, but it is already the 26th of January!  Gosh, where did the time go?  And there are still a few things I have yet to accomplish before the month ends...

In fact, I have just realized that there are five weekends in this month, and we're already coming to the last one of all!  And next week, we're going to have a short break with the Chinese New Year celebrations...
